The Polisher is responsible for polishing gold and platinum jewelry pieces to Tiffany production and quality standards.
Polish all levels of complexity precious-metal jewelry pieces to meet or exceed Tiffany & Co. production quality standards and quantity requirements.
Use appropriate tooling as required. Follow all work instructions and procedures.
Verify the accuracy of work orders in terms of but not limited to: tracking location, CODC if applicable, high value components and notify supervisor of any discrepancies.
Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for Polishers, as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor.
Contributes to 5S improvements as demonstrated at workstation and within the department.
Required Qualifications:
5 +years precious-metal jewelry polishing and lapping experience.
Flexibile to work overtime and/or modified work schedules as needed by business.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing repairs.
Computer literacy using MS Office programs
Fluency in English.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
