Recruiter, Temporary

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full cycle recruitment activities, including but not limited to;
    • Verifying specifications of the job descriptions
    • Posting positions
    • Screening and short-listing candidates
    • Interview preparations
    • Gathering closing documentations
    • Administration of offer & approvals
    • Including coordinating background checks for all position
  • Facilitate strategy meetings and identify appropriate sourcing strategies
  • Build strong relationships with the various line and functionalclients to ensure the ability to influence, guide and drive the recruiting process
  • Consult with HR Manager on specific staffing strategies for volume hiring, hard-to-fill positions, background check standards and agency resources
  • Work as a liaison between candidates, hiring managers and human resources staff
  • Generate a pipeline of candidates through proactive recruitment methods including LinkedIn, exploratory interviews and other forms of networking.
    • Maximize opportunities with social media and LinkedIn.
    • Develop diverse candidate slates to present to hiring managers
  • Maintain relationships with all candidates for future openings
  • Consult with HR Manager on specific staffing strategies for volume hiring, hard-to-fill positions, background check standards and agency resources
  • Have a high ability to influence thinking across all levels

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a full cycle recruitment role
  • Knowledge of related business issues, trends and best practices as it relates to talent acquisition
  • Proven ability and comfort in thinking outside the box, effectively sourcing passive candidates, and establishing a deep network on talent in key functions
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver customer-focused, bottom-line oriented staffing solutions as a member of a functional staffing team
  • Must have the ability to be a highly effective relationship builder
  • Excellent technical skills; in-depth knowledge of applicant tracking technology and general Microsoft applications; familiarity with best practices in social networking; ability to leverage technology to attract candidates and drive effective and efficient operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience in retail, consumer products, supply chain or service industry preferred (Retail, Luxury or multi-brand)
  • Understand and use of ICIMS


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
